Amidst a constantly changing landscape of challenges and possibilities, I firmly believe in the power of design to make a positive impact. As an artist, designer, and creative entrepreneur, I strive to create meaningful and aesthetically pleasing connections between people, products, and environments. I am committed to developing sustainable, high-quality, and emotionally impactful solutions that contribute to shaping a brighter future for both our planet and ourselves. My core values include longevity, repairability, updatability, use of renewable/recyclable materials, energy efficiency, efficient transportation, user accessibility, and equitable treatment of those involved in the production, maintenance, and recycling of the design.
I am a multidisciplinary designer specializing in product design and industrial design. I graduated from the Art University in Poznan and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and I am currently a student in the MA Design Products program at the Royal College of Art in London.
The period between my BA and MA studies was a time of professional growth for me. During this time, I worked as a space and exhibition designer, furniture designer, marketing specialist, and CGI artist. After gaining valuable experience in these roles, I decided to start my own design practice, Studio Politowicz. By taking on projects while still in my undergraduate studies, I have accumulated over 7 years of professional experience. During this time, I successfully introduced more than 10 product collections to the market, primarily furniture collections, but also lighting, acoustic panels, interior accessories, and fabric prints.
My temporary architecture projects, booths, and trade show exhibits have been featured at major industry events throughout Europe, including Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and other countries.
Both my product design and spatial design projects have won European awards. The MO_RE bathroom collection project won the Diamond Furniture Award in 2021, while the trade show booth design for Smart Design Expo received the Exhibitor Awards Best of Show at Euroshop 2020 in Dusseldorf.
In addition to designing, I also create visualizations, photorealistic product and interior representations, as well as more abstract arrangements. My designs and visualizations have been featured in magazines such as Elle Decoration, Label Magazine, Design Alive, and exhibited at industry events such as Design Week in Milan, ISH in Frankfurt, Cersaie in Bologna, EUMO in Paris, Warsaw Home in Warsaw, and many others.
