Nature-Integrated Headquarters x Ertel Floor

The architecture of the building is designed to seamlessly blend into the rural, forested landscape, directly reflecting the company's core focus on natural wood.

Natural Wood Facade: The material is intended to age naturally and change tones over time, maturing alongside its environment and showcasing the beauty of raw wood.

Glass Entrance Pavilion: Serving as both a representative entrance and a vestibule. It features functional sliding wooden panels over the glass to protect the interior from dust.

Cohesive Volumes: The shape of the terrace and the individual building modules are carefully calculated to connect seamlessly, integrating existing structures with new additions without unnecessary demolition.

Smart Detailing: Instead of replacing windows, the existing frames were foiled, and window recesses were finished with a lighter shade of wood for contrast. Delicate metal logos mounted on standoffs add a minimalist touch.

Natural Boundaries: Heavy fencing was replaced with a common hornbeam hedge, defining the property line while maintaining an open, fluid transition into the surrounding nature.
